Privacy and Cookie Policy
Effective from:
This page explains what data we collect when you visit zespolmonstrum.pl, why we do it and what rights you have. We try to collect only what we actually need.
1. Who is the data controller
The controller of your personal data is Tomasz Sitek, acting on behalf of the band MonstruM. For any privacy-related matters, write to kontakt@zespolmonstrum.pl.
2. What data we collect and why
Visit statistics – Google Analytics 4 (only with your consent)
If you click “Accept” in the cookie banner, we switch on Google Analytics 4. This tells us how many people visit the site, where they come from and which sections interest them (e.g. concerts, music video, discography). We do not know who you are – we only see aggregated data.
- What data: a browser identifier stored in cookies, approximate location (country, city), device and browser type, pages visited, clicks on selected buttons and the traffic source. Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses.
- Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 399 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law).
- How long: data in Google Analytics is kept for a maximum of 2 months and then deleted automatically. Only aggregated statistics that cannot identify anyone remain in reports. The
_gaand_ga_*cookies expire after 2 years unless you withdraw consent or delete them earlier. - What we don’t do: we do not use this data for advertising, remarketing or profiling.
Without your consent, Google Analytics does not run at all and no data is sent.
Remembering your cookie choice
So that we don’t ask you on every visit, your browser remembers whether you clicked
“Accept” or “Reject” (the monstrum_consent_v1 entry in localStorage).
This entry stays on your device only – it is not sent to us or anyone else –
and is necessary for the banner to work. Your choice is valid for one year,
after which the banner will ask again.
Email contact
If you write to us (e.g. about a concert, interview or cooperation), we process your email address, name and the content of your message in order to reply and continue the conversation.
- Legal basis: our legitimate interest in replying to your message (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, where the conversation concerns an agreement, taking steps prior to entering into it (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- How long: for the duration of the correspondence and then for as long as it may be needed to handle any possible claims.
Server logs
Like any website, the server automatically records basic technical information about the connection: IP address, date and time, the page visited and the browser type. This is used solely to keep the site secure and working properly (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and is deleted automatically by the hosting provider.
3. YouTube videos
Videos on the site (music video, concert recordings) load only after you click the play button.
We then use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com).
Once you click, your browser connects to Google servers, which process data under their own rules
described in the
Google Privacy Policy.
Video thumbnails are loaded from the YouTube server when you open the page.
4. Links to other services
The site links to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, the CD store, ticketing sites and media outlets. When you click such a link, you go to a site run by its owner, and their privacy policy applies there.
5. Who processes data on our behalf
We use services of companies that process data on our behalf and according to our instructions:
- SeoHost – website hosting (servers in Poland),
- Czarty Studio – website development and technical maintenance,
- Google Ireland Limited – Google Analytics 4 (only if you give consent).
Google may transfer data to Google LLC in the USA. This is based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework), in which Google participates.
We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- find out what data of yours we process and receive a copy,
- have it corrected if it is inaccurate,
- request its deletion or restriction of processing,
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest,
- receive the data you provided in a portable format,
- withdraw your cookie consent at any time – just click Cookie settings (the link is also in the footer of every page) and choose “Reject”. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before it,
- lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority – the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland, uodo.gov.pl) or with the data protection authority in your country of residence.
To exercise these rights, write to kontakt@zespolmonstrum.pl. Providing data is voluntary. We do not make any automated decisions about you.
7. Managing cookies yourself
Apart from the banner, you can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies does not affect how this site works – it only switches off statistics.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change the way we process data (e.g. add a new tool), we will update this page and the date at the top. For significant changes, we will ask for your consent again.
This is a translation of the Polish version. In case of any discrepancies, the Polish version prevails.
