MonstruM was formed in 1994 in Zaczernie near Rzeszów and has remained active on the Polish rock and metal scene ever since.
From the beginning, the band has created its own original Polish-language material rooted in hard rock
and heavy metal. MonstruM has played hundreds of concerts, including large outdoor stages,
motorcycle rallies and club shows. At Dedal Rock Festival in Mielec the band took second place and the audience award in 1998,
and won the festival a year later. MonstruM has supported Sabaton and shared the stage with
artists such as Tim "Ripper" Owens, TSA, Kat, Dżem and Oddział Zamknięty. In 2026 the band played KrushFest in Jasło,
on the same bill as Hunter, TSA MNKWL, The Bill and Krusher.
The band's discography includes three demo releases: "1998", "2002" and "Promo 2011",
as well as five full-length albums: "Za Horyzontem Ciszy" (2004), "VIII Dzień Tygodnia" (2007),
"Imperium Zapomnienia" (2010), "Czas" (2013) and "W drugą stronę świata..." (2026).
MonstruM has also released several music videos available on the official YouTube channel.
One of the band's recording curiosities is its appearance on a tribute compilation dedicated
to the American band Cirith Ungol, released on vinyl in Western Europe. In 2005, MonstruM also
composed and recorded the anthem for the speedway team Marma Polskie Folie Rzeszów,
accompanied by a music video. The band played it live at the league final,
to a crowd of about 15,000 according to the regional daily "Nowiny".
After nearly thirteen years without a full-length release, MonstruM returned with its fifth studio album,
"W drugą stronę świata...". The album was recorded at Torowa Studio and carries the band's
characteristic blend of melodic hard rock, heavy metal and Polish lyrics.
Since April 2024, MonstruM has been active with the following line-up:
- Mariusz Waltoś - vocals
- Wacław Dudek - guitar
- Paweł Guzek - guitar
- Tomasz Sitek - bass guitar
- Przemysław Rzeszutek - drums
